IN ENGLISH:
A week later the rowan is not only in bloom but the flowers are already starting to wither. The ground under the rowan is full of white petals from withering rowan flower. And the field in front of the appartment building where my pallet collars stand is now bright yellow of buttercups.

It’s surprising how quickly the flowers bloom, but sadly don’t last long.
Lovely to see all those buttercups, such a cheerful sight. xx
Wow! … because of the heat?
This far north the growing season is short, but the light conditions make it very intense. When you combine daylight around the clock with a long lasting heat wave and at least some water you get plant development and growth at super high speed.
It a bit like a sprint race. Plants adapted to the northern climate start much, much later when the southern plants already have a long lead. But true northern plants are amazingly good at acceleration and always catch up before the finish line.
Wow, it’s such a difference from last week (and last month for that matter)! I do like Rowan flowers, even if they are short lived.
What a difference a week makes! The rowan flowers and buttercups are so lovely to see.
