IN ENGLISH:
This year I chose the large birch to follow. It seems to be a silver birch, a.k.a. European white birch (Betula pendula). Not much has happened with the birch since last month. Everything is still covered in some snow but also, and more importantly, plenty of ice. So it is very slippery outside and trying to walk anywhere requires a rather death-defying attitude.

That’s a lovely tree! Stay safe on the ice!
I feel so guilty when I say it is almost Spring here in South Wales!
Stay safe and enjoy the view 🙂
It’s almost spring nearly everywhere in the northern hemisphere. Except here 🙁
I chuckled when I read ”death-defying attitude” but you are right, and I know exactly what you mean! We are just now at the end of an ice episode, thanks to a spell of warm days. But more is on the way.
So far this winter looks like it will basically be one long ice episode and nothing else. Don’t like it!
It’s a well shaped tree. I’m not surprised that there’s been no change since last month given the ice and snow there. Take care. xx
True. Not much is going to happen with the tree for another few months.
